What’s the Opportunity?
Responsibilities:
Process supplier invoices to ensure they are paid in accordance with agreed-upon payment terms, seek approvals and enter into system with accurate GL coding
Identify and resolve discrepancies in records or documents including researching records and making necessary adjustments to vendor accounts or accounting records
Communicate issues and resolutions to departments and vendors as needed
Bi-weekly check runs to vendors and subcontractors using bank check payables system
Maintain, review, complete, issue, and file W-9s, Report of Unclaimed Property and other returns as required by Federal and State agencies.
Compile and interpret information to prepare reports for management/audits
Assist in the accounting year-end close process
Lead, coach and support co-workers performing A/P functions
Deposit and post Daily Cash Receipts for client payments
Reconcile accounts monthly
File 1099 records at year end
What Are We Looking For?
Ideal candidates will have the following:
Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance
Technical / Professional Experience Requirements: Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
Total Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience in AP Processing
Technical / Professional Experience Desired: BST experience preferred
Detail-oriented and the ability to handle multiple tasks within deadlines
Problem solving
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work in a team environment
