Job Description :
We are looking for a Griggs Ace Hardware Manager to join our Pasco team!As a Grigg’s Hardware Manager, you will support the Store Manager with the daily operations of the store, primarily in the Hardware Department. This includes managing sales, expenses, profits, and assets of the store while ensuring all customers are receiving a high level of customer service consistent with our Ace helpful brand. In addition, you will also be responsible for associate development, merchandising, inventory control, safety, personnel, and loss prevention in order to promote sales and meet profit goals.Daily Tasks:
Meet and exceed sales goals, maximize profit whilst minimizing costs.
Collaborate with team leads on setting and achieving team-specific goals
Ensure inventory and promotions are accurate and merchandised to the company’s standards
Staff is fully versed on the target for the day and excellent customer care standards are met.
Assist with recruitment, training and development.
Ensure all customers are receiving a high level of customer service consistent with our Ace helpful brand.
Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances
Requirements:
Proactive, motivated, self starter
3+ years of progressive retail management experience. More extensive retail experience hardware, especially Ace Hardware is a plus
Proficient in the use of computers, including: MS Office products (Word, Excel,), POS and Inventory Systems
Strong customer service focus with proficient written and verbal English abilities (Spanish Bilingual a plus) The ability to provide “a breed apart” level of customer service
Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and follow through skills. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Market knowledge
Results Driven
An upbeat demeanor, with a sales-oriented personality
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the willingness to roll up sleeves and get the job at hand done
Willing to submit to a federal background check and comprehensive drug test
Salary: $24.00 to $25.50 per hourBenefits Include:
