L2: AIX Administrator:
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an enterprise server environment
Certification on AIX.
Experience in AIX (v6.1, 7.1, 7.2), PowerHA SystemMirror (v7.1, 7.2), PowerVM/VIOS (v2.2 and 3 ), IBM pSeries Hardware (P7,8,9 models) Administrator
In-depth knowledge and experience with OS administration, User management, OS patching, configuration, cluster build, storage addition and file system administration, cluster nodes, topologies, networks, heart-beating concepts, AIX system administration, user administration, file/directory permissions, LVM, maintenance of software and system patches, TCP/IP , NFS, NIS, DNS, storage , performance tuning, CIS AIX benchmarks for server hardening, Lpar creation, Server migration from one server to another, hardening closure, new server installation, AIX volume management.
Well versed in PowerVM/VIOS, HMC, Virtualization, LPM, NPIV, SAN-attached storage, NIM (Network Installation Manager), virtual network mapping for LPARs.
Advanced knowledge on ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Problem Management, Change Management, Configuration Management, Release Management, and Escalation Management.
Should be able to drive and influence other resources to follow standard processes.
