Morris View Health Care Center, is a beautiful 5-star CMS rated Nursing Home located in Morris Plains NJ. We are currently seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing.
Assistant Director of Nursing Requirements:
Assist the Direcor of Nursing in planning, development and organizing the day to day functions of the Nursing Department.
Makes written and oral reports/recommendations to the DON as necessary concerning the operations of the nursing department.
Ensure that all nursing department personnel are following their respective job dscriptions.
Assist in implementing of department orientation, working cooperatively with Staff development / Director of Nursing
Analyze and evaluate nursing staff and practices for accuracy / apply corrective action if needed and education.
Participates in developing, maintaing, and updating written policies and procedures of the nursing department in conjuction with the facility Q1 committee.
Coordinate services effecting resident care, working cooperatively with other department and health care team.
Assume duties of Director of Nursing in his/ her absence under the direction of the Administrator.
Perform administrative duties such as completing medical forms, reports, evaluations, studies charting, etc.
Supervise the training and oreintation of nursing staff , interpeting principles of good management to nursing manager, supervisor and charge nurse and be a good role model.
Knowledgeable of Plan of correction and actively participate in the facility’s ongoing plan to correct and prevent occurences.
