Job Description :
** Manager requirements and responsibilities:The Sleep Inn & Suites hotel in Kalamazoo is currently looking for a Manager to join its management team. Manager will be responsible for supervising the operations of the front desk, housekeeping and all others department by directing and supervising guest service representatives, night audit, PBX and reservations associates to ensure the best possible guest satisfaction, employee morale, standards, development, and training by providing efficient and effective service. The Manager is responsible for providing genuine hospitality by exceeding guest expectations. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing and updating training materials and programs for associates while building a strong team capable of exceeding expectations by teaching, demonstrating, and coaching the highest hospitality standards as set forth by the hotel. Taking care of shifts checklist and hotel policy, rules, etc……
The successful candidate will have a degree in business or a related field (hospitality preferred) and exceptional customer service skills along with an eagerness to achieve outstanding guest satisfaction results. Must have a demonstrated ability to manage and organize staff members; train, develop; and effectively communicate standards. Strong problem solving ability, initiative and sound judgment and decision-making are also required. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule within a fast paced environment. Must be able to work weekdays and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 – $15.00 per hour
