Job Description :
A PLAYDAY Assistant Manager will be responsible for various tasks in assistance to the Studio Manager to help ensure the studio runs smoothly, positively, and efficiently. The ideal Assistant will have strong organization and multitasking skills, be a team player, and be motivated. The Assistant is responsible for assisting the teacher as needed, maintaining the space, communication with families, and upkeep of the space.
Duties include, and are not limited to:
Manage weekly Inventory and upkeep of the supplies.
Birthday preparations | Follow up calls, project ideas.
Manage social media accounts (FB and INSTA).
Handle phone calls, Wix, and Square.
Maintain a flexible schedule. Provide coverage as needed and must have full weekend availability for birthday parties.
Ability to travel to other New York locations.
Perform duties as needed.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
All PLAYDAY staff is required to have a degree in the ARTS from an accredited College or
University. Our employees have a passion for mentoring and motivating children along with a
love for sharing relevant art history and modern techniques.
A minimum of 1 year of experience working with children.
About PLAYDAY:
Open seven days a week, PLAYDAY provides indoor and outdoor Grown Up & Me Art & Music classes for children 1-4 as well as After School creative programming, Creative Camp, and customized birthday parties for ages 5-12 in a safe small group studio environment with highly educated and experienced instructors.
We are in partnership with multiple progressive, pre-schools, and middle schools where our highly talented staff also instructs everything from Painting and Textiles to Cartooning and Architecture.
