We are seeking an Engineering Team Lead for Life Sciences Process Automation, to directly and indirectly manage a team of engineering, project management, administrative and design personnel to achieve revenue, gross margin, customer satisfaction index targets and other business objectives. You will manage a multi-disciplined team to deliver projects on time and in / under budget. Additionally, you will manage team resource planning such as assigning direct reports to projects, assessing staffing levels and utilization.

This role reports to the Engineering Manager and is located at our Mayfield Heights location in Cleveland, OH.

What you will do:

Oversees customer’s requirements and the development of system solution and its applicable control configuration/architecture
Develops and executes industry / application team plan
Understands different project scopes and knows when a change request is required
Actively contributes to the development of business team strategic plan
Oversees process improvement activities within relevant business scope
Works with direct reports to address training gaps and development
Responsible for all performance aspects related to assigned business segment
Supports and helps implement business wide strategies

Fosters open communication with team members to promote positive work environment
Takes ownership for results and drives issues toward resolution

This position is part of a job family. Experience will be the determining factor for position level and compensation.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor degree in Life Science Engineering or a related discipline.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

Preferred Qualifications:

Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of people management experience.
Typically requires a minimum of 2 years of Life Sciences Process Automation experience.
Extensive experience with control systems application
Proven success at simultaneously managing multiple customer projects
Extensive experience with direct customer contact and suppliers
