Job Details:

Have a demonstrated ability to perform at a self-directed and required efficiency pace.
Self-manage use of time to ensure optimum technician efficiency.
Use timeclock to identify on and off times when working structural and non- structural repairs.
Ensure that time spent during repair processes is efficient and productive.
Use and maintain structural realignment equipment.
Verify that all equipment is placed back in equipment storage locations after the repairs have been completed.
Inspect and maintain equipment and notify management when equipment is in need of repair or replacement.
Maintain workspace cleanliness and organizations of chains, clamps and computer.
Maintain 5S in each structural workspace to ensure production efficiency.
Maintain welding, cutting and application equipment to ensure safety and use of equipment is optimized.
Conduct brief meetings with lesser skilled employees to set work product expectations.
Identify job accountabilities for lesser skilled employees.
Keep check (inspections) on work product progress and quality.
Lead structural realignment, metal installation and structural replacement operations.
Responsible for pre-pull, during pull and post pull measurements and documentation.
Validate all measurements are within the manufacturers tolerance.
Ensure that the measurement copies are in the repair order hard or electronic file at repair order closure.
Work with Blue Printer/estimator to create pull plans including times required for structural realignment to create accurate repair plan times.
Help to establish pull plan to determine structural realignment methodology.
Notify blue printer of additional times during meetings to ensure proper pay for both the technician and the store.
Provide feedback as needed to assist in supplemental documentation.
Lead, direct and train lesser skilled employees to improve productivity and repair accuracy and quality.
Be sure that any technician that is completing any welded repairs has necessary documentation to support cut lines, welding processes, associated repair requirement such as sensor removal etc.
Print AllData report on any structural member repair or installation.
Ensure that all equipment updates are completed monthly. (computer updates)
Measuring system updates are completed.
Attend training as identified for the position.
Identify and attend all applicable training for the position.
Provide update to management on training program success for inclusion in personnel file.
