QUALIFICATIONS: 1.High School Diploma or equivalent.2.Demonstrated record of successful employment. 3.Valid Ohio Person In Charge of Food Protection Certificate Level II is required.4. Ability to work without close supervision.5.Have knowledge and understanding of how to operate computers and programs.6.Must complete all training as required by Sylvania Schools and/or the Ohio Department of Education.RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.Work with and take direction from the Cafeteria Coordinator. 2.Must be able to fill in for cafeteria coordinator and accept full responsibility, including all of the coordinator hours, for total cafeteria operation in absence of coordinator.3.Learn and operate Mosaic Food Service Software and AESOP.4.Cook menu items to be served for all school meals.5.Supply food to the cafeteria lines during serving periods.6.Restock serving line coolers before, during, and after serving periods.7.Follow proper procedures to store leftover food and aid in clean up and care of kitchen equipment.8.Responsible for any segment of the cafeteria operation such as assisting with food preparation, serving, cashier, or any phase of the clean-up operation, ordering food, supplies, inventory, and stocking.9.Promote safety and health standards beneficial to the welfare of the food services program.10.Observe sanitation practices designated by the Health Department of the State of Ohio (ServSafe, and HACCP).11.Be willing to accept occasional extra-hour duties for special functions.12.Work harmoniously with staff and students.13.Follow good food services practices pertaining to dress and conduct.14.Responsible to clock in/out and enter personal absences on AESOP/Frontline via the Time Management System.15.Communicate same-day absences to the Food Services Director or Human Resources.
16.Responsible to check your district email account on a regular basis, and to communicate as needed via email. 17.Perform such other tasks and assume such other responsibilities as necessary to assure the successful daily operation of the building cafeteria.
