Cardio Lab Registered Nurse | New York | Pays Up To $3,750 Per Week!
Job Description:
RapidStaff has an immediate opening for a Cardio Lab Registered Nurse in Geneva, NY, day shift. The Cardio Lab RN will be responsible for skilled nursing care of cardiac patients in an outpatient setting. Perform and manage diagnostic testing including exercise treadmills, nuclear treadmills, and Holter monitors. Room and assess patients, schedule, and coordinate care.
Cardio Lab Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
Conducts initial patient interview and makes preliminary assessments of test data.
Prepares study for physician interpretation.
Performs ETT’s (Exercise Tolerance Test) and Nuclear stress tests per policy and procedure.
Works closely with physicians and Cardiac Rehab/Cardiology Supervisor to assure accurate and timely test results.
Assists with special procedures by monitoring patients (e.g. stress-echo studies, tilt table studies, etc)
Monitors patients before, during, and after procedures.
Provides patient and family education.
Experience:
Minimum: 2 years of Cardiology or ICU experience.
AHA BLS and AHA ACLS
License/Certifications: Active any state RN License
Benefits:
$72 per Straight Hour – $108 per Overtime Hour – 40-hour weekly guarantee
Per Diem: $35 per day ($245 Per Week) NON-TAXED
UP to $600 round trip upon successful completion of contract
Free Private Housing only provided by RapidStaff or weekly TAX-FREE stipend of $525/week
