Job Description :
Our organization is currently seeking an experienced and highly motivated individual to join our team as a Certified Dietary Manager. The successful candidate will be primarily responsible for oversight and implementation of nutritional programing as well as overseeing the meals served to patients, making sure they meet high standards of quality. The right Certified Dietary Manager will have a natural talent for advocating for patients’ needs, with a background in nutrition and dietetics and a passion for food service.
Responsibilities:
Promote healthy eating.
Educate others about healthy nutrition.
Demonstrate healthy food preparation techniques.
Show people how to read food labels.
Get involved in local and national health promotion programs and events that support healthy lifestyles.
Design menus that meet the health needs of patients and cafeteria patrons, while staying within the budget set by upper management.
Keep a current list of food supplier phone numbers and know how to order food.
Know the school and state guidelines for nutrition.
