Job Description :
Overview:

Atlantic Health System is currently seeking a Full Time Clinical Lab Assistant I to work at our Atlantic Consolidated Lab in Morris Plains, from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm and every other weekend.

Responsibilities:

Performs accurate patient registration/accessioning of laboratory specimens
Demonstrates computer proficiency and great communication skills
Reviews pending logs and investigates/resolves specimen issues
Maintains department supply inventory
Distributes slides to the Pathologists
Handles specimen storage and disposal
Handles department chemical waste collection/storage
Other duties as assigned by the Department Supervisor/Manager
Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma/GED

Requirements:

Laboratory/medical experience preferred
