Job Description :
Medical Staff (CNA, CMA, ETT, EMT 1-3, and Paramedic)
Location: Anchorage, AK – site location Ted Stevens International Airport (local hires preferred)
Schedule: Full-time project, night shift working Sunday night through Thursday night from midnight to 8:00am
Job Summary:
Seeking medical staff (CNA, CMA, ETT, EMT 1-3, paramedics) to support our COVID Team in a dynamic rapidly changing environment. Looking for new team members that are flexible, adaptable, reliable, customer service driven, with a ‘have fun’ attitude. Primarily responsible for administering COVID-19 screenings to include temperature checks and nasopharyngeal swabs for lab testing.
Job Scope:
Full scope and project duration fluidly changing to support corporate level testing for our clients related to the Coronavirus pandemic
Perform basic assessments based on travel history, record in accordance with project protocol
Preparation of specimen collection for lab testing
Provide education for following preventative practices (proper hygiene, social distancing, etc.)
Sanitization of screening stations as per protocol
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good communication and people skills; work well in teams and in diverse groups of individuals
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Computer skills such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Mail
Organization and time management skills
Ability to focus on critical deliverables and high priority assignments
Ability to handle multiple tasks and switch between tasks quickly
Ability to demonstrate compassion and caring in dealing with others
Ethical understanding of confidentiality and personal health information (PHI) data management
Qualifications:
Must possess current Alaska certification as appropriate for skill level CNA, CMA, ETT, EMT1, EMT2, EMT3, Paramedic, LPN, RN.
Physical Demands and Work Conditions:
Work conditions are such that significant time will be spent walking, standing, stooping, sitting. The employee will be working in a potentially high COVID-19 exposure environment and must be able to wear appropriate PPE. Exposure to anesthetic gases, blood and body fluids, sharps, and other health care occupational hazards is routine. Conditions will include exposure to hospital grade cleaning solutions, flammable solutions and gases, e.g., alcohol and oxygen, as well as latex and other industrial chemicals.
Contingencies:
Offer contingent upon ability to pass pre-employment drug testing (federal panel), background check and motor vehicle report.
