Job Description :
Performance Health is seeking a Head of M&A and Strategy to join our team. The Head of M&A and Strategy is responsible for coordinating and leading the strategic plan process, as well as initiating and leading on all M&A transaction activity throughout the full deal cycle.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities

Lead the definition and articulation of Performance Heath’s (PH) strategy: take in the views of the team to build a consistent framework for our overall company strategy.
Take responsibility for developing annual and long-term strategies to outline the future growth and direction of PH.
Measure and evaluate the performance of Performance Heath’s objectives and plans.
Responsible for researching the market, and presenting findings and suggestions for merger and acquisition prospects for the business
Oversees the company’s M&A agenda and developing and negotiating strategic partnerships and/or divestments.
Ensure that financial models are robust and accurate
Leading all aspects of any M&A process including negotiation, advisor relations, diligence, contracting
Lead all financing activities in order to fund M&A opportunities
Liase with PE sponsors as needed
Ensure full alignment on all terms of deal and aspects/assumptions necessary across all functions: CEO, CFO, GC, HR, Commercial, Operations as well as Board and PE Sponsors
Plays key role in transformational projects: Making sure running projects are managed appropriately, with tasks delegated and reviewed where necessary
Lead, manage and develop key relationships with investors and strategic partners.
Support the CEO with the Board, particularly with regards to planning for board meetings
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business Administration or equivalent
15 years of strategy and finance experience in the healthcare industry
Excellent communication skills (written & verbal); actively listens to understand
Executive presentation skills; experience presenting to senior level customers
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytic skills
Solid organizational skills
Solid networking skills
Ability to manage outcomes in a matrixed environment
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
Ability to coach, mentor and collaborate with peers and wider PH team
