Job Description Summary
Customer Service Representatives (CSR) are dedicated to working closely with our Sales Representatives and other cross functional teams to meet our customer’s needs and deliver on our service level agreements (SLA). The CSR must demonstrate knowledge and competency in all aspects of customer service responsibilities, including, but not limited to order to cash processes (OTC), complaint handling, pricing resolution, high customer interaction and account maintenance. Success in the role includes managing multiple accounts, coordinating timely deliveries, responding to customer requirements in a professional, timely, and cost-effective manner, execution of various business policies, adherence to trade compliance, business processes, and audit schedules. Works closely with Customer Service Manager on implementation and monitoring of standards and KPI metrics.

Job Description

Processes all assigned/shared customer orders efficiently and effectively (standard sales orders, consignment replenishment/release, reconciliation and billing, sample orders).
Route and process incoming calls on ACD line
Monitor and manage group mailbox distribution.
Liaise with Supply Planning or propose alternative arrangements with customer if materials are not available in the right packaging or for the requested delivery date.
Escalate critical availability issues to customer service manager, supply chain operations team, and sales/account manager.
Collaborate with credit department to help investigate past due invoices and takes appropriate actions resolve accounts receivables and credit hold issues.
Ensure all invoices, debit, credit notes are released and “clean” in the ERP order to cash module in a timely manner.
Monitor supply and demand to assure availability for production and/or distribution to customer and sure up availability to promise (ATP).
Proactively monitors open orders to advise key stakeholders of possible lead time challenges and service issues.
Support uninterrupted customer service plan by providing account coverage and back up during (holiday, FMLA, PTO, etc.)
Actively and proactively contributes to the continuous improvement process of administrative systems and processes.
Participate in achieving the organizational and departmental goals.
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and positive rapport with every customer.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Job Description

Associates degree or higher; or comparative work experience

Bachelor’s degree a plus

Minimum 5 years job experience in customer service-related role

Strong OTC knowledge.

JDE, Microsoft office suite, EDI.
