Job Description :
Dairy Tech Inc is seeking qualified, self-motivated candidates for a sales opportunity within the dairy industry. This position will be a sales support role responsible for both selling and supporting Dairy Tech Inc Equipment and Perfect Udder Bags.
This position will work throughout the United States dairy markets. You’ll assist customers in achieving improved production/profitability in their dairy operations using the Perfect Udder Colostrum Management System. This role will focus on increasing market share through the use and sale of proprietary technologies and products along with their knowledge of animal health.
Your primary responsibilities include:
Conduct targeted prospect calls to develop new and existing business growth; actively call on customers – the primary focus will be on dairy producers.
Actively work with area distribution channels in supporting the development and execution of sales growth strategies and tactics that incorporate Perfect Udder Colostrum Management programs.
Work closely with all areas of the Dairy Tech Business team, to develop a strong and trusting relationship focused on their needs and the needs of their customers by positioning the programs, tools, technologies, and services of Dairy Tech Inc.
Provide tracking reports (CRM) on marketing and service activities as management requires and maintain up to date and accurate client history records.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills and experience;
The successful candidate should be competent to have basic command of nutritional and management recommendations to livestock owners in the market.
There is a requirement of excellent verbal and written communication skills, focus, along with strong organization and time management skills.
Success in this position requires cold calling, high internal drive, a natural ability for relationship building, and leadership in a team environment.
Computer skills, including in MS Office, necessary for success.
Requires the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
Required (Basic) Experience-Education:
BS in Ag related field or equivalent experience. Candidate should have a good understanding of dairy husbandry, current management practices, and nutritional guidelines.
Experience-Education (Preferred):
Preferred candidates will have a minimum of 3 years of experience with a Dairy emphasis, proven track record of growing and maintaining a customer base of dairy herds.
Experience as a Dairy herd manager or related position is favored also.
Percentage of Travel:
50% travel throughout the Nation. Potential Internationally travel

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year
