Job Description :
Full time dental assistant working on average 30 hours per week with most Fridays off. Dental assistant certification preferred but will consider one year of on-the-job experience. Applicant should have excellent communication skills with patients and staff. There is occasional need for computer entry and phone answering skills.
Dental assisting will focus on restorative dentistry, fixed and removable prosthodontics, and dental prophylaxis in aid of the dentist or dental hygienist. Oral surgery is occasionally performed.
Instrument sterilization and set-up are required throughout the day. Operatory takedown and disinfection are also performed routinely throughout each day. Ordering dental supplies is another task which is the responsibility of the assistant.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
