The essential functions of the job for a Food Service Aide require, and may be amended from time to time at the sole discretion of Windsor Health Care, LLC to include, but are not limited to the following:
Handles food and equipment according to sanitation policies and procedures;
Ability to follow diet lists, portion food as specified and serve food in an appetizing manner.
Is aware of safety regulations and responsibilities in operating all equipment;
Delivers food carts, trays, etc. to designated areas, including resident rooms and dining room, as instructed by supervisor;
Serve – in dining rooms;
Prepare and deliver snacks as directed;
Assists in some aspects of food preparation;
Assists in daily or scheduled cleaning duties, in accordance with established policies and procedures;
Reports any discrepancies in his/her area to department supervisor;
Ensures that residents and families receive the highest quality of service in a caring and compassionate atmosphere which recognizes the individuals’ needs and rights
