Job Description :
This position pays a $2.00 per hour shift differential for hours worked from 11pm Friday through 11pm Sunday for both FT and PT employees.
The Horton Program is a group home for adolescents in a community setting. We are looking for direct support professionals to make a positive difference with the Consumers in the program. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference and change lives for the better, then this job could be for you! On a daily basis, you can expect to:
Relate with adolescents, understand what they are going through in their lives and build rapport
Show adolescents that they can change their lives on their own by giving them direction
Use positive reinforcement and other techniques to keep adolescents on the right track
Assist in teaching life skills, such as cooking, laundry and cleaning
Get moving and go outside to play basketball, tennis, hiking, bean bag toss and other activities
Lead by example and have a positive mindset
Full time and part time positions are available.

What do you need?
This position requires either a High School Diploma or equivalent, or a Bachelor’s Degree. Experience working with adolescents is preferred but not required. You must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Legacy will train you on CPR, First Aid, Nurtured Heart, Safe Crisis Management and Ukeru.
