Job Description :
Sugar & Hive and Habit Modern Massage is hiring for a Director of Social Media and Brand Development.
Who we are:
We are Sugar & Hive Facial Bar and Med Spa; an award winning spa located in Richmond, VA and Henrico, VA. We recently launched a brand new massage boutique located in Richmond, VA called Habit Modern Massage. We have made it our mission to redefine the skin care and massage experience. At Sugar & Hive we provide exceptional results-driven skincare treatments combined with cult-favorite medical aesthetic treatments in a beautiful setting that stands out from the rest.
Our goal from the beginning was to make skincare treatments accessible, convenient, and to exceed all aspects of the expectations of the consumer.

Overview and Responsibilities: Develop and implement social media strategy.
Content development, including creating cohesive brand graphics and videos representing our brand and our services.
Develop and implement creative strategies that align with various social channels such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and Tik Tok.
Manage ads on Facebook and Instagram, including developing, strategizing, testing, and implementing our ads.
Test and optimize our ads, social media content, blogs, and emails.
Manage our email marketing, including writing monthly emails, managing our monthly specials and announcements, etc.
Manage and coordinate all photo and video shoots and our management team to capture our providers, products, space, and services.
Responsible for responding and communicating with our audience.
Responsible for partnering with our community partners and business partners to work together to engage our audience and grow our audience.
Develop and execute our campaigns to increase our appointment volume, service volume, membership, and overall presence in our community.
Manage social calendars according to the strategy.
Manage PR and announcements to the community and our team.
Manage all aspects of our blog, including developing a strategy to align with social media, writing blog content, and publishing the blog every month.
Create and manage all aspects of branding, including business cards, menus, product material, forms, and other marketing material.
Maintain and update our website using Showit and Squarespace.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in writing, marketing, digital media, or equivalent job experience
3+ years of working in social media management, content management, and marketing and brand development
Superior verbal and written communication skills – strong attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, tone, and structure
Creative copywriting skills
Copywriting for blogs, emails, social media, and video content
Proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
Proficient with Photoshop
Proficient with Canva
Experience with Premiere Pro, HTML, HTML 5, CSS
Experience with Showit and Squarespace
Extensive knowledge and experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, YouTube, and other social media channels

Pay: $50,000.00 – $70,000.00 per year
