Job Description :
Spokane Produce is seeking a FULL TIME Farm Worker for our Cheney, WA farm. The successful candidate must be familiar with farming operations.
Job duties will include all daily operational activities associated with farming: Equipment maintenance, fence evaluation and repair, care of animals (cattle, chickens, horses, and family dogs). Daily communication with the family owners on a regular basis will be required.
Duties will also include field/pasture production, planting, harvesting, irrigation, weed control and maintaining records. Operate and maintain farm equipment and machinery. General upkeep and maintenance of farm buildings and personal landscape is also part of this position.
Must be able to work independently or as part of a team, provide strong problem-solving abilities, comfortable working on your feet for long periods and in ALL weather conditions. Must be able to lift heavy objects, bend, stoop and kneel to repair equipment. Must be at least 18 years old.
Schedule is Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:30pm.
Successful candidate will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and county criminal background check as well as be fully vaccinated with the Covid vaccine.
