EL1 is the proud youth baseball and softball training partner of Major League Baseball.
SUMMARY
The Finance/Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing the financial budgets and administrative relationship with the Powered By Organizational Director. They will oversee daily transactions, registrations, payments, player counts and the team and organizational budgets as well as analyze the macro-level economics of the Powered By teams for the Company.
Manage budgets, collections, registrations, payments, etc. for designated Powered By Organizations and teams
Serve as the Point of Contact for the Powered By Organization Director for budgetary and financial-related items
Facilitate relationships between Powered By Organization director, program manager and registration platform for financial questions and solutions
Analyze designated organization budgets at the micro and macro level for trends and potential issues
Report to Customer Experience Manager on designated Powered By Organizations
Assist in building budgets for Powered By organizations in creation of the MOU process
Work with Customer Experience Manager, Accounting Manager, Program Managers and Program Directors to develop a processes that continue to improve the service and model of EL1 Powered By.
Upholding professionalism by providing courteous and responsive customer service to all EL1 visitors, clients, vendors, and staff
Develop automated reporting and forecasting tools for more efficient use of data.
Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field preferred
Two years of professional experience as an accountant or analyst. An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered
Ability to communicate effectively internally and externally to EL1
Experience with automated accounting programs and systems required. Experience with specific programs preferred: SAGE
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software (e.g., Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Ability to apply discretion and trust with confidential material
Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial data
Ability to effectively apply analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent time managing skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines
Knowledge and passion for baseball, football, softball preferred
Positive mindset and attitude
