Job Description :
Part Time Food Purchaser / Inventory Manager for a busy Australian café in Jersey City Serving quality, healthy breakfast & lunch & Coffee in Jersey City. Must have access to a car and have valid license / insurance & car registration.
We are looking for a professional, trustworthy , individual to drive to pick up our bi weekly groceries & supplies and pack and unpack inventory (approx. 10 hours per week.
This role would work on Monday & Thursday morning for approx 5 hours per day with some flexibility if needed,

Responsibilities
Have high knowledge of food handling skills, be able to work autonomously and independently after sufficient training.
Have access to a car & license to be able to do food pick ups twice per week , pick up heavy items , break down and put away.
Maintain a safe working environment by using proper food handling skills and food safety guidelines
Manage inventory and replenishment, prep area, tools and equipment
Ability to greet guests as needed & pitch in to help all functions as needed
Ability to perform physical requirements of the position (lift up to 50lbs) and use hands repetitively for pushing, pulling and fine manipulation
Qualifications
Have access to own car
Minimum of 2 year experience in food service/hospitality including preparation
Legally allowed to work in USA
NJ or NY Food handler’s license (preferred) but not required
Must present well, can do attitude and thrive in fast-paced environment
Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
Basic math and written communication skills

$18 – $20 hour for the right person plus tips
