Job Description :
Foundry Technician: Are you looking for a contract position that will offer exceptional pay, flexibility, and the opportunity to work with some of the nation’s most prominent manufacturing organizations? Look no further!
About the PositionAs a skilled Foundry Technician, you will be responsible for performing one or a combination of the following tasks: melting metal, pouring metal, removing castings from molds, dressing castings, operating machinery (furnaces and other equipment) as well as moving material and cleaning equipment.
Job Requirements and Qualifications:
· Assemble flasks, using wrenches, bolts, tap screws etc.
· Watering and mixing sand, shoveling sand into flasks and compacting in flasks
· Melting metals and pouring metals into molds
· Operate, monitor and adjust furnaces and other foundry machinery
· Removing castings from molds, repairing molds, cleaning molds
· Other job duties, as requested

· Pay: Up to $38/hour
· Guaranteed overtime each week paid at time and a half

Additional qualifications for the role include:
– Ability to perform tasks with little to no supervision
– Ability to travel and commit to assignments ranging from 3 months to 1 year
– Ability to work 2nd and 3rd shifts, including overtime for the duration of the assignment (50+ hours/week)
– There are no specific certifications or minimum education requirements for this role
