Job Description :
Bargreen Ellingson is a family-owned Foodservice Supply and design company, specializing in the distribution of items sold into the wholesale foodservice industry. We currently have three locations in the state of Montana, Billings, Bozeman and Missoula.
The Front Counter Sales Associate will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability. This is a salary plus commission opportunity..
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Coordinate with Sales team to provide excellent customer service.
Greet and direct customers.
Provide accurate information to customers with attention to detail and after-sales follow-through.
Take and direct phone, email, mail, and in person customer, vendor and employee contacts.
Check in and put away material, verifying quantities and quality of received material. Maintain clear isles and walkways. Ensure material is properly organized.
Assist in maintaining appearance of branch as needed. Clean warehouse, counter area, bathrooms, etc.
Keep the showroom updated by ensuring racks are fully stocked and clean. Keep inventory organized and put away.
Participate in ongoing education and training as directed or desired.
Answer telephones professionally and pleasantly, assisting customers, taking orders and providing excellent customer service.
Assist warehouse/operations with inventory management.
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
High School Diploma or equivalent experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work in a high volume fast paced environment and still provide a high level of customer service.
Beginning to intermediate computer skills and ability to utilize all business systems with proficiency; intermediate Excel preferred.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
Work Environment: Generally indoor work environment with variable conditions.
Physical demands:
Frequently stand, stoop, bend, and kneel.
Ability to stand for long periods of time while assisting customer needs.
Occasionally lift 50 to 75 pounds unassisted.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $19.00 per hour
