We have an awesome family in Rutherford looking for a live in or live out nanny for their two children: a 2 year old girl and newborn boy (2 months old).
The schedule is Monday through Friday from 8am to 6pm. Total of 50 guaranteed hours per week.
The start date is anytime between now and mid September (mom is currently home on maternity leave and going back to work in Oct). The family are hoping for a long term commitment for multiple years into the future. 10+ would be amazing!
Mom and dad both work full time. Mom mostly works from home and dad is on a hybrid schedule with a lot of travel. There will be overlap between mom and the nanny, especially during the breastfeeding phase so interested candidates should be comfortable with this.
Childcare is the primary responsibility of this role but also helping with household tasks that relate to the children: laundry, meal prep, cleaning bottles, etc. is needed.
The family have a housekeeper that comes almost every day so heavy housekeeping is not an expectation of the nanny.
Interested candidates should be:
Fully vaccinated + boosted for COVID along with up to date on TDAP vaccine
Comfortable around pets- the family have a dog and a cat.
Experienced with infants and toddlers and have past long term nanny experience
Familiar with and willing to follow REI/Gentle Parenting/Attachment Parenting techniques. Mom and dad will show you the ropes!
Comfortable traveling both domestically and internationally with advance notice
A confident and safe driver. Family car can be provided to use during working hours if nanny prefers.
Spanish Speaking – not a requirement
Live in accommodations will include a separate bedroom and bathroom.
The family is offering a generous weekly pay, based on the guaranteed hours, along with paid vacation, holidays, and sick/personal days. Pay is 100% on the books.
