Our client is looking for a skilled, experienced RN Nurse Leader with home health experience wanting to grow their career or an experience Home Health Administrator for their home health business. Our client serves 9 counties and the Metro Detroit area. While recently making the move into Michigan, the company owns 29 senior living, skilled nursing and rehabilitation centers; five psychiatric hospitals; home health and hospice offices serving 44 counties; and a long-term care pharmacy. Essential Job Duties of the Home Health Administrator:
To perform this job, an individual must accomplish each essential function satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Work with corporate officers and company personnel to develop strategic plans in accordance with the company’s mission, vision, and values
· Analyze financial statements, accounts receivable, and accounts payable for accuracy and appropriate payment and reimbursement
· Plan and ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines; manage company expenses within budget
· Provide leadership and direction for all staff members and maintain accountability amongst staff performance
· Monitor staff needs to ensure quality patient care
· Participate and assist with ongoing educational programs planned and conducted for staff development
· Demonstrate understanding in the Quality Assessment Performance Improvement Program; actively participate in the plan
· Represent the company in the community, promoting goodwill and participating in community programs to foster company visibility and growth
· Review and investigate complaints
· Plan administration of daily operations of the company as set forth in the Conditions of Participation and applicable state regulations
· Work with the Director of Home Health to prepare an effective annual operating budget, including planned capital expenditures
· Handle unresolved issues between staff and supervisors
· Actively pursue new and innovative marketing opportunities
· Oversee activities related to the implementation and maintenance of company policies and procedures
· Ensure services provided are in compliance with the requirements for licensure and Medicare certifications
· Develop employee excellence through recruitment, retention, training, motivation, and reward
· Promote interdepartmental cooperation and communication by acting as a liaison between executive leadership and home health staff
· Ensure the numbers and qualifications of personnel available to provide and supervise services are sufficient to implement the plans of care and treatment to meet the medical, nursing, and rehabilitation needs of the patients
Required Qualifications for the Home Health Administrator:
Experience:
· Must be a licensed RN in the state of Michigan. BSN preferred
· Must be CPR Certified
· Minimum of five (5) years clinical experience
· Minimum of three (3) years supervisory administrative experience in a home health setting or in a related program with one (1) year working full time in a home health setting.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 – $190,000.00 per year
