Horticulture Executive
Property & Asset Management
What this job involves:
Objective of the role:
Manages the landscape & horticulture to ensure pleasant & healthy environment in the landscaping areas of the building
Responsibilities
Carry out all activities and functions as per SOPs
Supervision and management of landscape upkeep services primarily of common areas of the township.
Management of vendor personnel for assigned tasks.
Deliver as per the SOW
Manage training that includes assessing training needs of staff, and developing and coordinating programs to meet unit needs.
Develop Work Plans and implement the same
Organize and provide appropriate coordination for employee relations’ issues & statutory compliances.
Plans, schedules, inspect work, and assigns work to subordinate supervisors and/or teams.
May supervise shift workers and inspect.
Applies knowledge of administration of program, resources, and staff.
Demonstrate ability to manage others and to communicate effectively.
Develops, interprets, and applies policies.
Reviews programs/ processes for effectiveness.
Brief all staff regarding their duties, designated areas and special instructions if any.
Prepare and implement various checklists, at the frequency instructed in the suggested formats.
De-brief all supervised staff at the end of each shift.
Monitor that the staff is cleaning in the required manner in order to ensure that the gardens, plantations, lawns and fields are maintained in the best possible way and to enhance their longevity.
Ensure discipline, proper attire and etiquette in the staff under them.
Ensure that his departmental storage areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner at all times.

Experience & Education
Will be qualified Diploma/Degree holder in horticulture or environmental science with 2-3 years of relevant Industry Experience
Working knowledge of the philosophy, objectives, methods and practices of Horticulture operations, including manures, seeds, chemicals & consumables usage, maintenance, repair of equipment and waste disposal methods & techniques pertinent to horticulture and landscaping including scheduling, training, identification of needs and maintenance of controls.
Behavioural Competencies
Strategic Thinking & Leadership
Effective mix of strategic and tactical thought process
Excellent grasp of language as well as content generation, marketing, management and generation
Experience working in heavily matrixed environments and leading by influence
Expertise in influencing business strategies and aligning communications with commercial objectives.
