High School

Human Resources Assistant needed for immediate start on 1st shift in a manufacturing factory supplying automotive parts in the Romulus, MI area! This is a great opportunity to work a contract to hire position with a UAW plant.

Pay: $28.40
Shift: 8am-5pm
Responsibilities

Perform the administrative aspects of pre-employment process and onboarding activities (including candidate/new employee communication, scheduling, testing and on-boarding).

Report/ provide timely notifications of new hires to internal teams ie, payroll

Prepare correspondence and documents as requested.

Ensure UIA is managed within specific time period

Control inventory relevant to ordering uniforms, entering data in Excel and distributing uniforms to employees.

Excel – creating Pivot tables, PowerPoint, Microsoft Office.

• Filing archiving files, copy files as needed • Field queries from the public and internal customers and provide.
o Provide general administrative and clerical support:

Report/ provide timely notifications of new hires to internal teams ie, payroll

Maintain daily updates to company organizational charts on Intranet etc.

Accurately add time clock records for time and attendance.

Order office supplies, stock office with supplies, and all other duties as assigned

Strong customer service

Qualifications:
Strong customer service and organizational skills with ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks with competing deadlines.
Ability to maintain confidentially in all aspects of the job. Knowledge of laws affecting human resources administration
Minimum of 2-4 years’ work experience and High School Diploma or GED required. College is a plus.
Minimum of two years working with ADP or Workforce
