Job Description :
The Inside Sales Manager is responsible for facilitating sales workflow through guidance and coaching of the inside sales teams. The main function is to ensure high quality, timeliness, and efficiency of inside sales through well-trained personnel and effective systems to meet customer requirements and exceed sales goals. The position will work with the inside sales team to support inside sales initiatives in accordance with the department. Works with the Sales Manager to help understand any gaps between internal and outside sales teams.
This is an onsite position that manages both onsite and remote employees
Job Requirements:
Previous management experience in customer support, client services, sales, or a related field
Experience selling manufactured goods
Professional written and spoken communications skills
Proven success for growing inside sales team.
comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office, including Excel, CRM Database (Salesforce), SAGE/ERP, Pricing Programs
Broad knowledge of industrial automation and related machinery components
Demonstrated and proven sales results
Excellent time management skills
Ability to allocate necessary resources to allocate technical requests
Ability to coach and motivate team members
Project management skills
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Salesforce
Bachelor’s degree; Mechanical/Industrial Engineering or Engineering Technology
Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken
Job Functions:
Collaborating with the outside sales team to provide customer support and identify gaps in the sales structure
Working with Engineering Manager for training and product knowledge for all team members
Works with senior management to develop and implement KPIs and monitor performance of inside sales team
Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance, and sales metrics
Briefing teams on new initiatives, changes to targets, and company updates as well as best practices and ways to improve skills
Responsible for meeting and helping others to meet defined metrics
Scheduling department work schedules to maintain workflow in conjunction with the Office Manager
Devising work schedules and implementing deadlines
dealing with leave requests and arranging coverage when necessary
Monitoring progress and completion of all items with a special focus on large or long-term opportunities.
Handles escalated customer calls in a timely fashion and ensure
Recognize customers with requests or product needs that require advanced support and escalate
Review CRM information to ensure information is accurate and up-to-date
Coach and assist in developing inside sales team in providing superior customer service, achieving quality standards and meeting performance expectations by giving timely and appropriate feedback
Provides direct feedback to employees and performance evaluations
Initiates and guides improvement activities
Responsible for training new and existing employees on current and updates sales processes
May spend a portion of time doing the work of those these supervise
Other duties as assigned
