Under general supervision of the National Accounts Pricing Manager, the National Accounts Pricing Analyst will support sales initiatives by analyzing customer data to find the appropriate balance between a profitable pricing strategy and gaining market share. The successful analyst thrives in a fast paced, high-energy environment where attention to detail and efficient practices are a must, and innovative thinking is encouraged.
Responsibilities
Analyzes projects and/or determines profitability of new and existing accounts by utilizing customer data and internal tools.
Develops pricing models to meet customer needs, while utilizing data related to current and predicted market conditions.
Manages pricing improvement opportunities for assigned sales representative to ensure timely completion in support of ongoing profitability management process.
Balances customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share, and profit margin.
Communicates and negotiates, as needed, with internal and external customers on pricing related agenda.
Interacts with senior management to discuss pricing and profitability models.
Analyzes large sets of data, typically multimillion-dollar accounts and opportunities.
Models pricing adjustments to predict impact of changes on organizational performance.
Performs additional duties as required.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics or related
2 years of experience in pricing/financial analysis
Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
Ability to handle complex issues and provide customized solutions
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Detail oriented with the ability to multi task and meet assigned deadlines
Self-motivated to take on new projects and learn new skills
Knowledge of Tableau, Microsoft Power BI or other analytical tools
Knowledge of TCG cost model and NMFTA preferred but not required
