Job Description :
The TS Relationship Sales and Service Officer role is an individual contributor role, with equal responsibility for selling to, and servicing, a portfolio of target clients
and developing business from existing clients.
Sales Responsibilities:
Develops and maintains an active sales pipeline
Executes a comprehensive international selling strategy in conjunction with Product and the Banking coverage officers to maintain and grow an existing portfolio and target new clients
Serves as a trusted advisor, leveraging core knowledge to recommend and promote Global Treasury Services solutions and international accounts to clients while working within the risk parameters that protect the firm.
Develops account plans for select clients
Conveys a professional, knowledgeable and confident demeanor
Builds collaborative internal relationships to develop and foster partnerships with internal global partners, including Bankers, Implementations, operations, technology, risk, credit, legal in order to optimize delivery
Maintains an active calling plan; regularly engaging clients and prospects to communicate key global Treasury Services messages and capabilities to drive business results.
Manages customer expectations by communicating up front timelines and deliverables
Works closely with Implementation colleagues to ensure smooth transition of requests and international account openings
Follows up and leverages the appropriate global resources to champion results
Maintains a thorough understanding of the market, the industry in which the client operates, the client’s organizational and operating structure, buying process and business objectives to effectively position JPM and international solutions optimally.
Client Servicing Responsibilities:
Augment and amend key activities based on client’s international needs and capabilities. Key activities include client relationship, inquiry and international account management.
Serve as clients’ Key service contact and point of escalation and resolution for service issues, liaises with bank partners to manage issues globally. Advocates internally on the client’s behalf.
Develop thorough knowledge of the client’s business model, objectives, operating environment and industry. Leads the service agenda to further enhance the client experience
Act as proactive partner, reaching out to clients to assess progress, client satisfaction, and potential impediments to a high level of service satisfaction.
Design new processes to support client needs.
Identify and address product/service gaps and develop opportunities, leveraging the full array of Treasury Services international product capabilities.
Actively participate in client presentations; educate clients on product solutions, service channels, and self-service options.
Partner with internal stakeholders to develop and execute service-related relationship plans.
Use product knowledge to recommend product enhancements and delivery of service plans.
Convey complex ideas and client issues with confidence.
Resolve complex client inquiries and issues in an efficient and professional manner, engaging appropriate business and external partners
Takes ownership of issues and escalates to ensure timely resolution while leading internally through to resolution. Manage expectations both externally and internally.
Adhere to and ensure clients’ compliance with risk policies/practices and educate clients on risk/legal requirements
Given global nature of the position, ability to address issues after normal business hours may be required
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ years of experience in treasury management, client service or sales and relationship management
In depth knowledge of Core and Advanced Global Treasury Services products; and knowledgeable of global product suites and international accounts
Proficiency in identifying and exploiting supplemental sales opportunities
Demonstrated ability to position and close new business
Ability to assist in the design, sale and delivery of value-added services, with post-implementation first class client service
Competence in assessing new opportunities/prospecting, contacting key decision makers
Strong account planning and demonstrated execution
Comprehension of customer’s industries, business needs and potential solutions
Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and consultative skills.
Strong leader with ability to assess the big picture in complex situations.
Strong relevant industry and/or functional and/or management experience.
Advanced understanding of core, intermediate and Global Treasury Services product sets and delivery flow.
Thorough understanding of financial exposure and operational risk related to transactions associated with bank products and services.
Use of technical knowledge to produce value-added solutions for clients and partners.
Uses client product utilization as a solution to meet business objectives.
Creative thinker and problem solver; analytical skills.
