Job Summary:

As a Logistic Center Associate, you will perform to standards in multiple functions within the Logistics Center to include shipping, receiving and inventory control.

Utilizes various types of material handling equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Required:

What you’ll do:

Fulfills orders from stored inventory meeting customer requirements and inspection/testing processes.
Ships orders within time commitments and completes all documentation.
Communicates with lead/supervisor regarding any fulfillment issues or problems.
Receives, unpacks, and inspects incoming materials and product, and verifies against written orders.
Returns defective materials.
Ensures documentation such as packing lists, shipping labels, and other such documents are complete, accurate and processed appropriately.

Qualifications, Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities & Working Conditions

Qualifications Required:

Level I:

Experience:

No prior experience necessary.
Previous material handling experience preferred.

Skills:

Acquiring basic knowledge of job content, practices and procedures.
Still learning skills necessary to fully perform job.

Level II:

Experience:

6+ Months of Warehouse experience
Basic PC knowledge
Microsoft Excel and Outlook

Skills:

Able to transport up to 50 lbs.
Able to execute instructions and to request clarification when needed.
Possesses basic clerical and data entry skills.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Able to communicate clearly and convey necessary information.
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Able to maintain and promote social, ethical, and organizational standards in conducting internal and external business activities.
Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
Able to use relevant computer system applications at a basic level.

Senior LC Associate:

Experience:

2+ years of high-volume logistics warehouse experience
Material handling equipment experience preferred
Experience in Logistics functions/systems such as; SAP-WMS, SOP’s, shipping, receiving and/or inventory control.

Skills:

Able to adjust readily to change and adapt as needed.
Able to answer phone and greet public in a friendly and courteous manner.
Able to build solid, effective working relationships with others.
Able to coach others in the development of their skills.
Able to constructively work under stress and pressure when faced with high workloads and deadlines.
Able to effectively use relevant material handling equipment.
Able to express ideas clearly and convey necessary information.
Able to identify areas of risk/concern in area of responsibility.
Able to transport up to 50 lbs.
Able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
Able to quickly learn new systems and technology.
Able to recognize and attend to important details with accuracy and efficiency.
Able to remain stationary for extended periods of time.
Able to troubleshoot system-related problems.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.
Able to use relevant computer system applications (which may include spreadsheets, word processors, databases, etc.) at an intermediate level.

All levels require the following knowledge, skills, and abilities:

Basic Windows skills, Outlook, Excel. (Microsoft Office Tools)
Performs functions that are routine in nature with minimal complexity or variation.
Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
Logistics Center environment may include exposure to extreme temperatures high noise levels high places wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions.
