The Valet Parking Attendant in hospitality earns a competitive wage of $12 – $20+/hour (hourly wage is an average including base pay, tips and bonuses). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A VALET PARKING ATTENDANT
The Valet Attendant is the first point of contact for guests of hotels, restaurants, and banquet halls who are our clients. It is because of our amazing associates like you that we are known for our top-notch customer service. You are the face of our company!
Their core responsibility is to park and retrieve guests’ vehicles safely. They always welcome guests with a warm smile as you open their doors for them and put them at ease as you take over the responsibility of parking their cars for them. They always treat them and their property with the utmost respect. They are proud of the way you set the stage for the high level of hospitality experienced by guests.
If you love meeting new people and getting to be physically active as you run several miles and lift heavy luggage throughout their shift. Who has time to go to the gym anyway? You get it all done at work! You also ensure that guests’ departures are smooth and efficient by retrieving their vehicles for them swiftly. Their passion for providing the best possible customer service at all times is why you excel in this position!
QUALIFICATIONS FOR A VALET PARKING ATTENDANT
At least 18 years of age
Customer service experience
Valid driver’s license
Ability to pass a background check upon hire or a motor vehicle record (MVR) check
Ability to run and retrieve vehicles as well as lift luggage up to 50 pounds
Ability to drive a standard (stick-shift) vehicle is desired but not required
Do you have excellent verbal and written communication skills? Are you a hard worker? Can you balance multiple tasks while demonstrating good time management? WORK SCHEDULE
