Job Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to support the design and system implementation of Oracle ERP/EPM for the American Girl business as part of Mattel’s Next Gen Finance transformation. The position will report into the Sr Director of Finance for American Girl.
What Your Impact Will Be:

Drive “end-to-end” process management and governance for enterprise wide processes (e.g., P2P, O2C, R2R, A2R)
Develop the vision and strategy for each of the respective end-to-end processes for American Girl
Drive transformation and innovation across the end-to-end process and supporting technology, service delivery model, people, data, KPIs etc.
Define, communicate and update Global Policies and Procedures
Develop a culture of continuous improvement, adherence, and proactively propose enhancement to Global Standards
Define and monitor Metrics and KPI’s to identify and address/improve performance gaps and improvement opportunities
Lead overall training strategy, needs assessment, and development of training curriculum and materials for American Girl
Collaborate regularly with global process leads, project leads, etc. to support the success of the Oracle ERP / EPM implementation
Act as the escalation point for issue resolution
Provide input into strategy documents
Participate in meetings with our external consulting partner regarding business issues affecting the scope and execution of the implementation effort
Conduct discovery sessions with our external consulting partner
Define information requests to be passed on to the project team
Active participation in meetings and activities as designated by the Functional Lead
Support the completion of tasks in the project plan as identified by the Project Manager and Functional Lead
Co-facilitate sessions to develop new business processes and functional designs
Support Data extraction and validation efforts
Provide feedback on integration efforts
Support remediation efforts for testing phases
Ready and migrate the workstreams for go-live

Qualifications
What We’re Looking For:

BS/BA required (Finance, Accounting, Economics preferred)
CPA or MBA preferred
8+ years’ experience in financial/P&L analysis
Experience working in a complex operating environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of management, internal and external
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
High degree of initiative, drive, confidence, and resilience
Flexible and teamwork oriented
