We are seeking a Manager Information Technology: Ask Clinical Engineering to:
Direct all activities in regards to Information Systems
Direct the maintenance of all system equipment, hardware and software
Analyze all Information Systems technologies and makes recommendations to Administrative Offices
Utilize knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the Information Systems field
Have knowledge of file servers and Ethernet network topology
In this position you will have the following responsibilities:
Directs the maintenance and repair of all personal computer systems, printers, and other IS technologist and equipment
Responsible for interpreting, supporting and executing hospital and department policies and procedures
Responsible for the recruitment, training, supervision and evaluation of Information Systems personnel
Prepare annual employee performance evaluations
Provide constructive assistance to enable staff members to assess their own strengths and weaknesses
Prepares budget for department
Provide adequate staff coverage through scheduling. Be available as a resource person as necessary
Understand and educates the legal limits of local, state and federal law as they pertain to hospital computer systems and cabling
Ensures regular monitoring of Information Systems and reports outcomes to Administrative Officers and corporate as required
Directs the PC and Network systems integrity
Prepare and maintain a current department policy and procedure manual
Provide leadership training in systems software/hardware applications and changes
Qualifications:
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree Information Systems or related field -OR – a combination of equivalent education & experience
2 Years Supervisory or Administrative capacity
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Clinical Engineering / Bio Med experience
Facilities Engineering experience
Experience Leading a Call Center / Service Desk
Previous managerial experience
