Job Description :
We are looking for a Material Handler for one of our clients in the Lapeer Area. This position will be temp to hire working Monday-Friday with potential for overtime on Saturdays and Sundays depending on production. We have opportunities on all shifts. (Please be aware that if you are placed on 1st shift, you may be bumped once hired in)
Check in parts and kitting orders.
Work safely in a production environment wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required.
Regular and predictable attendance.
Ability to read and interpret BOM and orders.
Ability to handle stress and interact with others.
Supply parts to line as necessary.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Attention to detail.
Positive attitude and willing to learn.
Load/unload carriers.
Skills
Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position
Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks)
Strong communication skills
Dexterity and attention to detail
Organizational skills
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
License to operate forklifts
Availability to occasionally work overtime
High school diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
