Computerized Material Handler (Computerized Inventory and Shipping)
Job Description: TDK Electronics Inc. is hiring 2 Material Handlers to join our Lumberton, NJ Warehouse Team. Work as a member of our team and join the global TDK family that employs over 129,000 employees at 250 sites for R&D, manufacturing and sales in over 30 countries. As a Material Handler, you will perform receiving, storage and order fulfillment duties and will process accurate information into our computer-based inventory and shipping systems.
Major Responsibilities: Daily breakdown and sorting of inbound freight consolidations. Verification and processing of inbound freight through a cross docking (HUB) system. Verification of products physically received as compared to information on receiving documents. Process receipts into SAP computer system. Store products in accordance with stocking instructions/procedures. Process shipments through Assist computer system. Process shipments through dedicated customer portals. Pick/pack/process products per shipping instructions. Stage shipments for carrier pickups. Assist with perpetual cycle count inventory processes.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years warehouse experience
Knowledge of shipping, receiving, and traffic procedures
Experience with computerized inventory and shipping systems
Strong organization and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast–paced environment
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to drive/operate a forklift and electric pallet jack
