Our client located in the Ashburn, VA area is currently seeking a Medical Records Specialist to join their team! This is a long term temporary opportunity with potential for permanent employment based on performace and availability! This role does require a covid-19 vaccine and is in a hospital environment. Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Pay: $19.45 per hour Location: Ashburn, VA **Benefits available through Randstad during your temporary period.

Responsibilities
Coordinates the timely response to Continuing Care requestors and serves as a Resource for the release of patient information while assuring patient confidentiality is protected. Coordinates timely response to all requests for patient information as required by HIPAA rules and regulations. Process ROI Requests Demonstrates working knowledge of the legal requirements for responding to subpoenas for health information. Responsible for medical records processing.
