JOB SUMMARY, FIELD REPRESENTATIVE-LABORER:This position is primarily responsible for the safe and efficient operation of landscaping equipment and other types of power equipment employed on Winter Environmental’s Plant Branch and other GPC project sites related to Winter Environmental’s Plant Branch Contract with UCOYA and GPC. The position is also responsible for performing administrative functions to include time keeping, expense reporting, project documentation as directed by UCOYA’s Site Superintendent and or WinterEnvironmental’s lead or designated Point of Contact. You are expected and required that all safety measures and standards are strictly adhered to, and that company ethics and professional conduct expectations are met. It is expected and critical for career development to be versatile and willing to perform other roles as needed when needed whenever workloads dictate the need to perform “other than your primary” role.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:1. Maintain safety and operating standards and requirements at all times.2. Carry, maintain, submit to Company computer and phone polices, and promptly reply to all communication requests made during business hours and reasonable emergency-related after-hour communication requests.
3. Adhere to Company per diem and hotel lodging polices to include when necessary double lodging.Alternate lodging options may be allowed on a project-by-project basis if beneficial to the Company and are subject to management pre-approval. These may include long term housing stays, apartment rentals, VRBO assignments, and use with reimbursement of a personal RV.
4. Perform, operate, and maintain equipment assigned to a project and under your care to include daily inspections, out of service recommendations, daily maintenance, and refueling.
5. Competently operate zero-turn mowers, weed-eaters, and other landscaping centric equipment.6. Work in diverse environments to include work associated with such confined spaces, work at heights, on storage tanks, landfill construction and repairs, lagoon closures, uncontained waste sites, and other types of diverse project sites where the application of various treatment technologies, removal techniques, and heavy equipment application is an integral part of the applied solution.
7. Work outdoors in all weather conditions–extreme heat, cold, dry, or wet environment.8. Possess and maintain a valid DOT driver’s license to include being cleared as a legal DOT driver certified to operate equipment with a GVWR of < 26,001lbs.9. Perform emergency or urgent response related work with little to no prior notice as required to support Plant Branch and other GPC pre-existing contracts.10. Physically capable and willing to lift 50 lbs. while performing a manual work using hand tools and or while working with hoses, chemicals, and other equipment required for an assigned job.11. Perform or oversee the performance of hooking up and breaking down hoses, blowers, pumps, power units, and or other small tools as needed to support equipment located at Plant Branch and other GPC project sites.
12. Participate in all “end of the day” clean up task to include general housekeeping, securement of the work, covering of soil piles, and other “end of the day” task necessary to properly secure a project site.

13. Perform janitorial services as required at GPC Plant Branch and other support facilities services pertaining or relating sanitizing and maintaining clean support facilities.14. Complete all appropriate company mandated tracking paperwork including service receipts, rental agreements, time keeping, and other resource-related documentation.15. Assist in providing video and or photo documentation of job progress and video/photo document pre and post equipment condition.16. Promptly report injuries, equipment damages, or near misses in accordance with company policy.17. Additional duties as assigned.
