Job Description :
Job Description Summary: This position is responsible for the coordination, direction, and oversite of Shared Leadership. This includes establishing, meeting and continuously monitoring the goals and objectives of Shared Leadership while maintaining alignment with the Logan Health strategic nursing and system goals.

Qualifications:

Current Montana RN License or a multi-state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana; required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
Experience with change management, action planning and leadership training preferred.
Current Healthcare Provider CPR required.
Excellent organizational skills, detail-oriented, a self-starter, possess critical thinking skills and be able to set priorities and function as part of a team as well as independently.
Commitment to working in a team environment and maintaining confidentiality as needed.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with various audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Possess and maintain computer skills to include working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn other software as needed.

Job Specific Duties:

Formulates objectives, goals and strategies collaboratively with other stakeholders while providing an experience and environment of patient and family-centered care.
Remains current of new trends and best practices and incorporates these into Nursing Excellence practices and programs.
Develops and implements innovative systems and processes that improve staff and patient quality and safety.
Responsible for timely reporting of data and maintains records pertaining to nursing excellence per department protocol.
Reviews policies and procedures as they pertain to nursing excellence to ensure compliance. Provides input to assigned leadership.
Serves as a subject matter expert in the area of nursing excellence.
Effectively facilitates meetings and represents Nursing Excellence at the staff and nursing management level.
Maintains membership in a professional organization to develop knowledge and resources through networking, continuing education, and participation in national, regional, and/or local activities.

Maintains regular and consistent attendance as scheduled by department leadership.

Shift: Day Shift – 8 Hours (United States of America)

Schedule:
Logan Health operates 24 hours per day, seven days per week. Schedules are set to accommodate the requirements of the position and the needs of the organization and may be adjusted as needed.
