Advertisement – Recruitment for Officer
Applications in the Company are invited from those meeting the minimum educational qualification, work experience and fulfilling the following criteria:-
Position
Experienced candidates will be appointed as Officer in applicable designation as per company norms
Areas of Engagement
Projects/Operation & Maintenance or other departments at Kharagpur
Minimum Technical Qualification & Experience
BE / B Tech / B.Sc. (Engineering) (Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Production/ Electrical/ Instrumentation) from AICTE recognized institutes with minimum 2 years of relevant work experience.
Diploma Engineer (Mechanical/ Metallurgy/ Electrical/ Instrumentation) from AICTE recognized institute with minimum 10 years of relevant work experience.
Candidates with experience in Ductile Iron Pipe Plant in the areas of Casting, Annealing, Melting, Mould Shop, Core Shop, Finishing, and Quality Assurance & Maintenance will be preferred. Those working in Iron & Steel industry and other Pipes industries may also apply.
Candidates with technical qualifications of full time courses only are eligible. Those with qualifications of Part time courses, Distance education programmes and Correspondence courses are not eligible.
Minimum Physical Standard
Eyesight 6/6 in both eyes with glass power not more than : +/- 4.0 maximum
Colour Vision : Normal
In addition to the above, there are other medical fitness criteria on which the candidates will be assessed. The final selection will be done based on being found medically fit by Factory Medical Officer.
Compensation
Compensation will be as per company’s Compensation & Benefit norms
Special Instructions
Along with the form the candidates should upload photograph, 10th /12th certificate, ID proof, SC/ST Certificate/PWD certificate, as the case may be and BE/ B Tech/ B Sc (Eng)/ Diploma final results. In absence of relevant documents the application will be cancelled
If candidates furnish false/ incorrect details or are found ineligible at any stage of selection process then their candidature will be cancelled and the decision of the Company would be final.
Selection Process
Candidates who are eligible will be informed to appear for an online written test through proctoring exam mode.
Only those who qualify in the written test will be called for interview.
Written test/Interview dates will be communicated to the candidate through SMS/email on their registered mobile number and email id.
Canvassing in any form will automatically disqualify the candidate.
