Job Description :
**This is an in-office position that will work Monday-Friday 9am to 6pm.
Performs all functions related to Operational Services. Is assigned primary duties within the department but has the ability to perform any function within the department as needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
An individual in the role is trained and performs some of these duties as required.
Assist Department in the annual escheat of inactive accounts in compliance with Michigan State Escheat laws.
Performs functions related to ATM processing. Facilitates the resolution of ATM/Debit Card disputes to include fraud-related items and performs ATM reconcilement.
Maintains the bill payment system. Removes any unused accounts to minimize billing. Works with Retail Staff to research and resolve transactions.
Performs all functions related to Overdraft Protection, including granting, monitoring, and charging off delinquent accounts.
Provides customer support for the Cash Management product. Including the setup of Automated Clearing House (ACH) files, customer set up, system parameters and rules, and resolving customer problems.
Assists front line in providing customer support to the on-line banking system.
Provides support to Retail Staff in resolving customer issues related to deposit products.
Monitors activity of dormant accounts to ensure legitimacy of transactions.
Performs exception item processing to include death notices, chargeback’s, stop payments, NSF, non posted transactions and large item return notification.
Performs duties related to the Fed Advantage to include ACH transmissions, notification of change, ACH returns, and wire transfers.
Monitors reports to detect kiting activity. Performs large item review. Monitors accounts for Regulation D violations.
Performs OFAC review of incoming and outgoing ACH files, including IAT transaction.
Processes garnishments and levies.
Performs deposit account file maintenance review and corrections. Prepares and distributes monthly file maintenance error reports to retail management for correction. Updates the system with noted corrections.
Provides backup support and lunch coverage for Switchboard Operator.
Performs additional duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $16.00 per hour
