Job Description :
Raytheon Technologies Intelligence & Space’s Field Engineering is currently seeking an Operations Test Lead, to support the Air and Missile Defense Radar (AMDR) Program at the Combat System Engineering Development Site (CSEDS). In this role you will provide operations leadership and serve as the Operations point of contact for AMDR Test Operations
Primary location is Moorestown, NJ.
Work beyond the typical 40-hour work week in a 24/6 testing environment.
Responsibilities:
Key Interface for Test Operations and engage with engineering SMEs, Systems, Hardware, Software, Integrators & Test Leads to influence effective communication among cross-functional teams.
Lead, collaborate and influence driving quality and performance for program deliverables.
Define clear operational schedules, priorities, and goals for Radar Operators.
Prepare and present information for Monthly Management Reviews, summarizing program status and any on-going Testing issues.
Responsible for delegating as necessary for administrative and testing tasks to shift team (typically 20 operators).
Ensure test deliveries and objectives are completed on schedule within quality requirements.
Responsible for reporting and communicating Shift Change reports, etc. to maintain continuity in a Test & Integration environment.
Conduct daily/weekly periodic assessments of all work areas for safety and cleanliness. Identify and correct any issues, concerns, or areas for improvement. Lead team in ensuring up-to-date training (High-Voltage, ESD, and FOD protocols).
Assist with HW & SW installations and activations as needed.
Assist with data transfers and archiving to and from classified network.
Review, generate and maintain reports, logs, and various documentation.
Responsible for maintaining site specific instruments for system operations including test equipment.
Required Experience and Skills:
Experience with the implementation, management, planning, and engineering efforts associated within a Systems Integration & Test environment.
Knowledge and experience managing support plans and maintaining schedule in cross-functional, matrixed environment.
Demonstrated technical knowledge and capability in the evaluation of operational suitability, with emphasis on reliability, maintenance, availability, and logistic support of test equipment and infrastructure.
Familiarity with fundamentals of networking; knowledge of servers, networking & software
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees.
Eagerness to operate in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
Desired Experience and Skills:
Knowledge of system level testing of the SPY-6(V)1 with BL10 Aegis Weapon System.
Experience with radar systems, emulators and requirements in their verification, test planning, test execution and performance analysis
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of desktop application software especially OneNote.
Good working knowledge of drawings, schematics, diagrams, procedures, technical documentation.
Experience interfacing with customers (Navy), contractors and other government personnel.
U.S. Citizenship required, as the applicant must have an Active U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance, day one of employment.
Required Education:
Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations. Additional years of experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
