Job summary
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is looking for a highly motivated, technically savvy manager to lead a team of Partner Solutions Architects (PSAs) that support AWS partners. You should be a hands-on leader, who leads by example. Your experience in building and managing high-performance teams will help accelerate our growing business.
As a Partner Solutions Architect Manager within the Partner Scale Team, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to help partners succeed by growing AWS capabilities.
As the right candidate, you will have expertise in AWS technologies and an understanding of how applications and services are best built and operated on the AWS platform. You also have an understanding of IT security and compliance. This is a hands-on, detail-oriented environment and requires a passion for innovation, ability to deal with ambiguity, and an ability to scale and influence broadly.
Role Responsibilities include:
Hire, on-board, train, and develop new Partner Solutions Architects from internal and external sources
Coach PSAs in the skills needed to conduct one-to-few and one-to-many training sessions so they can transfer deep technical skills to partners
Capture and share best-practice knowledge amongst the AWS solutions architect community
Guide the development of whitepapers, data sheets, and other high-value customer facing guidance and best practices
Build and develop a robust team of Solutions Architects
Up to 30 % travel is required.
Master’s Degree or equivalent experience.
Prior experience working with AWS partners.
Intermediate/advanced knowledge of AWS services.
