Job Description :
2 shifts available:
Full time position with afternoons from 1:30p-10p, weekdays. No weekends.
Part time position with afternoon hours from 1:30 pm to 10 pm 3 days a week.
Description
Currently Henry Ford is looking for a Surgical Concierge to greet and check in patients and families to the OR. You will also be the contact person for families of those in surgery. As well as informing families of updates.
Must be able to stay calm in high stress environment. Have strong customer service experience.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Associates degree or two years of college.
Minimal of 3-5 years progressively more responsible related work experience necessary in order to gain in-depth understanding of organizational policies, procedures, and operations in order to assume a variety of high level administrative details. Two to five years of HFMG hospital or private practice operational responsibilities/experience. Proven performance in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team. Knowledgeable of medical electronic information registration and appointment scheduling systems. Epic registration experience preferred. Must possess a positive attitude. Able to apply problem solving and critical thinking skills. Must possess strong organizational skills.
