Firmwide Core Deposits Product Team

The Firmwide Core Deposits Platform and its health impacts our customers and their financial lives:

Ensuring our customer’s financial position is accurate by processing monetary inputs from all channels, calculating fees (non-sufficient funds/overdraft, interest, penalties, waivers) and posting to various ledgers.
Providing account and customer information to allow customer viewing on all channels, support compliance reporting and feed our data lake, and support operations and back office processes such as transaction monitoring.
Addressing stability, security, and scalability to lessen downtime and reduce impact to our customers and call centers through continued modernization efforts.
Delivering an end-to-end customer experience for features that cut across our deposit products that are consistently prioritized with a firmwide first approach.

Product Analyst (Associate) – Firmwide Core Deposit Platform

The Firmwide Core Deposits Product team is seeking a hands-on Product Analyst associate who will dive head-first into creating innovative solutions focused on modernizing our firmwide core deposit platform. The Firmwide Core Deposits Product team operates as an agile team within the Consumer Bank, sitting at the intersection of the product, business and technology.

We are looking for a Product Analyst with proven experience launching successful software products in dynamic, consumer-facing companies, passion for improving people’s financial lives, the ability to craft and deliver creative solutions to exciting and challenging customer problems! The Product Analyst will work cross-functionally to drive business outcomes while putting end users front and center. They will lead development and testing for platform functionality that serves multiple client segments.

What You’ll Do

Lead and execute testing of firmwide core deposit critical platform functions by planning, coordinating and executing E2E testing plans for monetary posting and settlement transactions.
Own and drive the ‘test automation roadmap’ for the area product group.
Design, develop and execute test cases based on 1) in-flight new initiatives and 2) E2E area product group aligned customer journeys,
Partner with product delivery team by leveraging Test Driven Design (TDD) during the refinement process.
Identify the appropriate data for testing, and work on data conditioning needs.
Drive solutions across the organization; working with various lines of businesses, design, legal, operations, finance, and Agile technology teams to prioritize, deliver the core deposit platform modernization roadmap
Continuously seek to find a meaningful balance between user needs, business objectives, and technical feasibility, while managing the product delivery timeline
Manage work in a highly organized, flexible manner, while staying focused on critical scope
Synthesize large amounts of information to inform decision makers, course-correct and adapt to evolving needs, and constantly iterate on your approach
Work in a global, organizationally complex, fast-paced and cross-functional environment

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 3 years of UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and/or QA (Quality Assurance) testing experience
Experience working in a product-aligned organization and a comprehensive understanding of key concepts of an agile-centric model (consumer banking products/payments/fintech experience is a plus)
Understanding of scrum team events (backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint review and sprint retrospectives)
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Customer-centric focus and keeps rapport with end users
Proficient in JIRA (preferred)
