Do you like working with data? Do you want to help define the direction of products that drives the technology decisions? Our Citi Technology Infrastructure (CTI) group is looking for a Product Manager in our technology reference data organization. The team is responsible for producing data and creating solutions to support the collecting, organizing, and publication of Citi’s application and technical reference data.
CTI is undergoing a transformation to provide a robust inventory reference data service, as well as an accurate and cohesive “golden source” of technology inventory data that ensure efficient data management practices across CTI. Additionally, the team uses the data to perform analytics, business intelligence, artificial intelligence and machine learning.
As the Product Manager, you will be responsible for defining the strategy and roadmap for the technology refence data portfolio suite which includes the technology product catalogue, application inventory, reference data taxonomy, data analytics, AI/ML, and reporting. You will work in collaboration with security teams, infrastructure services, compliance/regulatory teams, and business partners to set direction and strategy.
As a visionary leader, you will work with a highly skilled team of engineers to build the product in the portfolio, work with customers to facilitate requirements and build the roadmap.
Responsibilities:
Work with risk and the chief data office team to ensure controls are embedded in the application and technology reference data systems.
Influence the technology reference data product strategy and ensure multiple teams are aligned with a robust and well-defined roadmap and backlogs.
Develop the financial budgeting, pricing strategy and demand management for all products part of the technology reference data portfolio.
Collaborate with product, data science, and development teams to flesh out the personas and use cases around technology reference data.
Work with application developers and engineering managers to understand and define how customers use and interact with technology reference data.
Work closely with engineering teams to help identify the best technical implementation methods as well as execution schedule.
Understand and define the user stories, user journeys, definition of done and acceptance criteria and tests.
Manage agile leaders that facilitate agile best practices across engineering teams.
Build and foster relationships with external sectors for adoption of products.
Establish a customer experience feedback loop.
Minimum Qualifications:
10+ years working on data projects.
Excellent organizational skills, time management skills, sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in software development.
Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management.
BA/BS in Computer Science (In lieu of degree, 10+ years’ work experience).
