Webasto is looking for Production Operators for our brand-new facility in New Hudson, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a manufacturing environment and display an aptitude for teamwork.
Job Responsibilities:
Operation of a small number of machines and workstations within a production line according to work instructions, including applicable Quality and HSE guidelines
Removal of products from the machines – Assembly of components – Monitoring of processes, inspection of quality/safety characteristics
Escalation of any detected concerns and problems (Quality and Safety) in line with escalation procedures
Performing workstation 5S activities and total production maintenance (TPM) in line with standard operating procedures
Involvement in continuous improvement process
Education and Experience
Results-oriented team player, excellent attendance, high energy level and good attention to detail
Must be able to work required hours
Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills
Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and correspondence such as safety rules and operating instructions preferred, but not required
Willingness to be cross trained on various processes, machines and products
High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
We have openings on our A, B and C Crews!
A Crew:
Monday – Thursday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm (+required daily OT and/or OT on Friday, Saturday or Sunday)
B Crew:
Additional $1.00 per hour shift differential
Tuesday – Friday, 6:00 pm – 4:30 am (+required daily OT and/or OT on Saturday, Sunday or Monday)
C Crew:
Additional $3.00 per hour shift differential
Friday and Saturday, 6:00 am – 4:30 pm; Sunday and Monday, 6:00 pm – 4:30 am (+required daily OT and/or OT on off days)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
