Job Summary

Perform quality verification of the work performed by the workforce to ensure that performance is in accordance with the Quality program for Salem and Hope Creek.

Job Responsibilities

Conduct inspections/verifications of work performed by the work force to ensure compliance with Nuclear’s QA program.
Conduct performance based observations and performance of the work at Salem/Hope Creek by its workforce to ensure compliance with programs/rules/procedures, etc.
Initiate and recommend modifications and changes to workforce performance/procedures/processes, etc. based on results of observations.
Conduct inspections/verifications during emergent plant issues and/or industry concerns in accordance with the requirements outlined in Salem/Hope Creek’s technical specifications and QA department commitments.

Job Specific Qualifications

Required:

HS diploma or equivalent with extensive technical expertise.
Three years experience in inspection, test, or examination.
BWR or PWR experience.
Knowledge of nuclear industry standards and regulations.
Must meet and maintain Nuclear’s requirements for unescorted plant access.
Must be able to pass a visual acuity examination

Desired:

Current or previous NQA-1 or ANSI N45.2.6 certifications for welding, mechanical, electrical, or civil inspections.
